New Lebanon Library January Events

All of these events are free and will take place at the Library which is located at 550 State Route 20.

• January 14, 21, 28 (event is on Wednesdays) – Small Wonders Storytime – 10:00 am with songs, movement activities and age appropriate stories for our younger patrons (toddlers up to 35 months) and their caregivers.

• January 14, 21, 28 (event is on Wednesdays) – Preschool Story Hour – 11 am. Story hour includes crafts, songs and movement activities for children 35 months to 5 years old.

• January 9 – Coffeehouse Night with Linda Worster – 6 pm. Enjoy an evening of acoustic music with this Berkshire favorite. Donations for the performer are appreciated.

• January 12, 26 (event is every other Monday) – Study the Constitution – 7 pm. This biweekly discussion group focusses on the study of the Constitution. Interested participants should bring their questions and be ready to share their opinions.

• January 15 – Community Film Night – 6:30 pm. Join us for a screening of a current film. Please call for title.

• January 16 – Dana Welts in concert – 6:30 pm. Singer/guitarist Welts performs music that resonates with the soul of the sixties. Donations for the performer are appreciated.

• January 22 – Family Crafts Night – 6:30 pm. Join us and make a paper bead necklace or bracelet. All materials are provided. This activity is for ages 5 and up.

• January 23 – The Limb Shakers in concert – 6:30 pm. Enjoy an evening of jazz and swing music with the popular Berkshire trio. Donations for the performers are appreciated.

• January 24 – Paws-to-Read – 9 am. Therapy dogs come to the Library and children read to their furry friends. And, of course, the dogs listen! Please call to register at 518-794-8844.

January 27 – Block Party: Legos in the Library! – 4 to 5:30 pm. This is a Lego club for kids. We provide the Legos and will display all creations in the Library until the next club.

• January 30 – Crafts for Kids – 1 pm. All materials are provided – for ages 5 and up.

• January 30 – Rev Tor in concert – 6:30 pm. Enjoy an evening of folk/rock covers and original music from Rev Tor Krautter. Donations for the performer are appreciated.
