The Edith Craig Reynolds Foundation regularly contributes to community endeavors in the Hoosick area and this year honored HAYC3 with a contribution of $2,500 to be put towards the purchase of a sound system.
[private]The check is from the Rev. Edith Craig Reynolds residual fund administered by Key Bank Trust and channeled through the local Reynolds Foundation. “We are so grateful to the Reynolds Foundation for this generous donation,” said Aelish Nealon, Executive Director of HAYC3. “The funds will allow us to purchase speakers to increase and improve the sound in The Perry room.”
The central gathering space and former gymnasium area in the HAYC3 Armory, the Perry Room is home to numerous community events throughout the year. “Musical performances, community conversations and all manner of events will benefit greatly from the improved system,” said Nealon.
The new system is expected to be purchased and installed by June.
Members of the Reynolds Foundation are Robert Becker, Norma Brenenstuhl, James Monahan, Armand Rousseau and William Shiland, Sr.
