February 26, 2015 By eastwickpress

submitted by Erin Clary, Communications Specialist, NLCSD

The New Lebanon Drama Club will present “Drinking Habits,” on Friday, February 27, at 7 pm. at the New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School.

drinking_habitsThe musical comedy, written by Tom Smith, features two nuns who have secretly been making wine in order to keep their convent running. Unfortunately they aren’t as discrete as they think as two former reporters (and fiancees) go under cover as a nun and priest. This spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down.

(Please Note: Several of the performers are also playing in sectionals basketball on Wednesday, February 25. Should they win, they’ll play again on Friday and the Drama Club performance will be moved to Saturday, February 28, at 7 pm. Please visit www.newlebanoncsd.org for updates.)

The cost to attend the performance is free, with a suggested $2 donation.
