The Petersburgh Public Library will present Ariel Dunn showing pictures and telling about her three week trip to Africa, her safari and her climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. She will be talking about how she planned the trip, chose the company, and what it was like on the mountain. She will also be describing her safari, the parks visited and animals seen and just a little about what it was like to be there, her impressions of how people live and how it is different. She can answer questions on her decision making and assist if someone is interested in going on such a trip. This program will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 7 pm at the library. Everyone is invited to attend and see another part of the world through photography.
Story hour continues on Tuesday mornings at 11 am for preschoolers and their caregivers. March 10 will feature the wind and the month of March. March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day and that will be celebrated at story hour. March 24 will be “Animals Everywhere” and March 31 it will be “Build, Drive, Ride – Cars and other Machines”, There will be no story hour on April 7 due to school vacation.
The book discussion group will meet on Wednesday, March 11 at 7 pm to discuss the book The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert. Copies of the book are available at the library and new members are welcome. If you have read the book please join us for the discussion.
