“The Art of Birds” Presentation at Greenwich Library

The Greenwich Free Library will host photographer Gordon Ellmers for a reception and artist talk. He will discuss “The Art of Birds” at the Library on Saturday, March 21 from 1 to 3 pm. Shooting photos every day, Ellmers, a local veterinarian and noted artist, has created a vast collection of stunning images, making this event a must for lovers of art and birds. This fabulous and free event will be held at the Greenwich Free Library, 148 Main St., Greenwich. A dozen of Ellmers’ bird photographs are currently on display in the Library’s Hedbring Community Room, with a silent auction of these works ongoing through March 30. People may stop in and bid on the art during library hours. For further information, call the Greenwich Free Library at 518-692-7157. Photo by Gordon Ellmers.
