If you have ever attended a Stephentown pot luck supper, you are well aware of the culinary skills of Stephentown women. However, the talents of Stephentown women extend far beyond the kitchen. [private]

They include painting, sculpting, knitting, crocheting, spinning, dying, weaving, quilting, rug hooking, needlepoint, basket making, soap making, and stained glass crafting.
An exhibit of their work will be held at the Stephentown Heritage Center on Saturday, April 18, from 10 am to 4 pm. On Sunday, April 19, from 1-4, there will be a reception for these talented women. Light refreshments will be served.
The women featured in the Showcase include Phyllis Defreest, Lynn Drumm, Bernice Gawron, Isabel Krebs, Tammy Madden, Florence Mason, Pat Mohos, Donna Mullet, Laurie Perrin, Nicole Peskin, Barbara Peterson, Meredith Rhindress, Lisa Wheeler and Grace Zema.
The Showcase is free and open to the public. The Stephentown Heritage Center is located at the corner of Garfield and Staples Roads and is handicapped accessible. For any question, call 733-5935. [/private]
