Berlin High School senior Caleb Hendricks earned first place in the Carpentry division at the 2015 SkillsUSA regional competition on March 18. The regional competition took place at the Modern Welding School in Schenectady.

Hendricks is enrolled in Questar III BOCES’ Construction Technologies program at their Rensselaer Educational Center in Troy.
SkillsUSA is a national organization for high school students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. It provides quality educational experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development.
Students serviced automobiles, prepared dinners, styled hair and delivered speeches as part of the annual competition testing job-related and technical skills.[/private]
