HFCS Girls Lacrosse Wins Again

With cheers coming from a wild softball game going on at the softball diamond, another wild game was going on the girls lacrosse field. The Hoosick Falls Panthers were in a wild race with Cohoes to see who could outscore the other. The Panthers pulled out the win 20 – 16.

The Panthers led for most of the second half, but never comfortably. Hoosick Falls would score two goals then Cohoes would score one, then the Panthers would score one and Cohoes would net two. The Panthers never let up and kept up a pace that kept them in the lead.Rachael Lewsey and Caytlyn Springer each scored seven goals with Jordyn Haynes adding four. Ally Burdick and Liz Philpott each added one. Zaynah Poore had three saves in goal for the Panthers.
