Several people looking for better internet coverage came to the HAYC3 Armory last Wednesday evening, May 20, to hear what Managing Director John Carnett of Bouncelinx had to say about offering better service to the Town of Hoosick. Carnett will be investing $500,000 to provide coverage for the entire Town and is looking for 300 households to sign up by May 31. Outside the building a representative of Hudson Valley Wireless was handing out brochures advertising what they had to offer residents. Carnett said on May 27, “We have been very impressed with the response from Hoosick but we are not at our 300 goal yet. Folks have responded from all over Hoosick and the surrounding service areas. I’ve personally fielded many telephone calls and heard just how difficult it is for families to operate with no broadband internet service.” (Bea Peterson photo)
