Going, Going, Gone! Be a part of the action at HAYC3’s art auction on May 16. A puppet theater out of an armoire, a bicycle turned into a shelf, a tree swing out of a wooden pallet, a hutch turned into a bench, planters for all your springtime flowers, and much more.

Over 50 items, ranging from tables and chairs to mirrors and doghouses, have been transformed from trash to treasures for the fourth annual Hoosical Furnishings Art Auction on Saturday, May 16 at the HAYC3 Armory located at 80 Church Street, Hoosick Falls.
Featuring one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture crafted by local artists, this event highlights the creative spirit of the community and the artistic talents of its members, and raises funds for HAYC3’s mission of driving economic development through art, culture, education, and health.
Selected items are on display in storefronts around the community, and the entire collection will be available for preview at the Hoosical Furnishings event on May 16, beginning at 6 pm. A live auction conducted by Ron Seifert will commence at 7 pm. In addition, the event will feature a silent auction of the 33 parasols made as part of the Parasol Project, currently on display in the Perry Room of The Armory.
Light refreshments and a cash bar will also be available at this 21-and-over event. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by calling HAYC3 at 518-686-9050. Absentee bid ballots are available at www.hayc3.org for those who can’t but would like to bid. Bids must be received by Friday, May 15, to be considered.
