May 7, 2015 By eastwickpress

Hoosick Falls High School students participated in a DEC fish-stocking program along the Walloomsac River in Hoosick on April 16.  Among the students who helped carry buckets of fish down to the river for release were brothers Michael and James Stickney.  The students also participated in a river clean-up, collecting litter along the river banks. This field trip was part of the class’ study of water and Earth Week. The trip culminated in one more stop where the students enjoyed a special ice cream treat. (Deb Alter photo)
