Panther Softball

Vs. Tamarac – The Tamarac Bengals jumped out to a 4 – 0 top of the first inning lead. The Panthers scored three of their own in the bottom of the first but the Bengals led all the way to take an 8 – 5 win. Maddy Ryan went 2 of 4 and Sydney Miller went 2 of 3 at the plate. Alyssa Ellis and Chelsea Stevens each rapped a single. Erika Quackenbush took the loss on the mound.

Vs. Hoosic Valley – Playing host to the Hoosic Valley Indians on Monday, the Panthers took a 4 – 3 lead into the seventh inning, only to be outscored by four runs in that final inning to suffer a 7 – 4 loss. Alyssa Ellis had a triple and batted in two RBIs. Chelsea Stevens went 2 of 3 with an RBI, while Erica Quackenbush went 1 of 3 with one RBI. Quackenbush took the loss on the mound. Hoosic Valley pitcher Camille Coyne struck out 16 batters.

The Ladies are now 3 – 6 in league play, 3 – 7 overall.
