Antique mid-century John Deere and Farmall tractors of all sorts, with a variety of plows, stirred up dust and turned over 30 acres for planting last Thursday, May 7. [private]There were several drivers plowing the straight rows on a task that would take them the entire day. “That’s okay,” said host and antique tractor aficionado Don Paulson of Petersburgh. “They do it for the fun of it.” The day included lunch, and a celebration of Don’s birthday. Everyone appeared to enjoy watching the old beasts do what they were built to do… and can still do.
