The Mid-Hudson Valley Fur Harvester’s Association is pleased to announce that they are going to be holding a chicken barbecue at the St. Stanislaw Society on Mechanic St. in Hoosick Falls. The event will take place, rain or shine on June 13 beginning at 4 pm. Following the BBQ, we will be holding a Chinese Auction to help raise money for sending kids to camp. The meal will include a 1/2 BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans, roll & butter and a drink. Cost is $12 per person. Tickets available in advance or at the door if still available. However, it is strongly suggested that you get your tickets in advance if possible.
We have take out available, but we are encouraging people to stay if at all possible so that they may take part in the Chinese Auction following the barbecue. We already have many items that will appeal to men, women and children alike, but we are still looking for donations, especially from our members. Just about anything goes, new and used alike.
