“Cultivate A Cure” At Relay For Life

June 4, 2015 By eastwickpress

“Cultivate a Cure” will be the theme of the Berlin Bears Team campsite at the upcoming Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. The June 19-20 event, held at Mt. Anthony HS, has the overall theme Garden of Hope. The festivities begin with a survivor reception at 4 pm, followed by the Opening Ceremony and survivor lap at 6 pm. At 9 pm, thousands of luminaries will encircle the track representing the memory of those who have died from cancer and representing hope for those battling the disease.

Team captain Dianne Mosher invites you to contact her if you are interested in sponsoring luminaria ($5 each), being part of the team, make a donation or if you need more information. You can reach Dianne at 658-2453 or nymoo@yahoo.com.

Note: please join the Bears at their campsite at 6 pm to celebrate Dianne’s recent successful cancer surgery!
