DEC Sporting Licenses Once Again Available At Grafton Town Hall

June 4, 2015 By eastwickpress

by Alex Brooks

Sporting Licenses can once again be obtained at the Grafton Town Hall. Supervisor Frank Higgins and Secretary Joe Allain have both taken the training and passed their tests and are certified as “agents” of DEC for fishing licenses, hunting licenses and trapping licenses. [private]Higgins said, “It’s a service the residents wanted, and I’m glad we can provide it once again. Besides, it makes a little money for the Town.” Higgins said Allain is in the Town Hall most days between 10 am and 2 pm, but residents should call in advance if they want to make sure someone is there who can issue licenses.

Higgins also noted that he and Helen Hemendinger are Notary Publics, so residents can get things notarized at the Town Hall when either of the two of them are present. Hemendinger is the Secretary to the Assessor, and is regularly in the building on Mondays and Wednesdays.[/private]
