Join Us For The Berlin July 4th Parade

The Berlin July 4th Parade Committee invites you to tell your Tall Tales with a float in the 2015 parade which kicks off at 11 am on Saturday, July 4th. Tell everyone your tallest tale and maybe even win a cash prize for doing so. There is no entry fee. The Grand Prize float is awarded $125. Other float award categories are Best in Theme, Funniest and Prettiest, with prizes ranging up to $100.

[private]Ribbons will be awarded for marching groups, costumed walkers, antique and classic/modified automobiles, boats, antique equipment, trucks, horse-drawn wagons, decorated bicycles, horses and equestrian groups. Awards also will be presented to fire companies for best appearing and most in line.

Entry forms will be mailed at the beginning of June to all past participants. Please notify us if your contact information has changed or if you do not receive a form and would like one sent to you. Participants should sign in at the registration table at the Berlin Elementary School on School Street by 9:30 am. Judging begins promptly at 10 am.

Immediately following the parade, cold beverages will be provided for all parade participants at the Berlin Firehouse, compliments of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company. Join us there in the firehouse parking lot for further entertainment, provided courtesy of Hill Hollow Band.
