“Moon Over Buffalo” At The Theater Barn

June 25, 2015 By eastwickpress

Theater Barn Announces 2015 Season

The Theater Barn is pleased to announce that its 32nd  Anniversary Season opens on Friday, June 26 at 8 pm.  Following the show the audience is invited to stay for a complementary wine and cheese reception with the cast of the comedy Moon Over Buffalo to kick off its exciting season.  As always, 2015 will feature two area premieres, lots of laughs, great music and an Agatha Christie mystery.

[private] Moon Over Buffalo (June 26-July 5) centers on George and Charlotte, fading stars of the 1950s.  They hear they may have one last shot at stardom since Frank Capra is coming to their matinee and he could be their ticket to fame and fortune. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong does go wrong in this laugh a minute comedy, written by the master of the modern farce Ken Ludwig.

The rest of the 2015 Summer Season includes the heartwarming witty musical jon and jen (July 30-August 9);  the longest running musical in the world The Fantasticks (August 13-23); the musical story of Eva Peron as she rose from the slums to be Argentina’s first lady Evita (August 27-September 6 ).

The Fall Season offers a hilarious show, the ultimate comedy of manners without manners, God of Carnage (September 11-20).
