The Petersburgh Republican Party held its caucus recently and named its slate of candidates for the fall election. Peter Schaaphok, who has had a long career in Town politics and has served many years as Supervisor, will be the candidate for Supervisor. [private] Amy Goodermote Schaaphok and Alan Webster will be the Party’s nominees for the two Board seats that are up for election. Neil Geary and Tom Berry were also nominated for these Board positions. In the voting, Amy Goodermote Schaaphok received the most votes, Alan Webster was secon, Neil Geary was third, and Tom Berry fourth.
The Party also endorsed incumbents Rob Cottrell for Highway Superintendent, Amy Manchester for Town Justice, and Emily Harrison for Tax Collector. [/private]
