Brian Philip White

Hoosick Falls – Brian Philip White, 57, passed away at home Wednesday, July 22, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. 

[private]White pic-WebBorn in Bennington, VT on May 1, 1958, he was the son of the late Albert White. Brian was a 1977 graduate of Hoosick Falls Central School, after which, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until 1984. Upon his honorable discharge from service, Brian returned to Hoosick Falls with his family and obtained employment with Allied Signal. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, walking trails and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the American Legion Post #40 of Hoosick Falls and served as an acting commander.

Along with Brian’s wife, Judith A. White, survivors include his three daughters, Aimee White of Hoosick Falls, Jackolyn (Jeffrey) Houghton of Hoosick Falls, Manda (Keith) Russell Jr. SSG of Evans, GA, his mother Gwendolyn White of Hoosick Falls, his sister Kay Gattuso of Adams, MA, his brother Wade (Francine) White of Poughkeepsie, NY, his nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to honor Brian’s final wishes by having private burial services, therefore there will be no calling hours. Donations can be made to the Karen McGovern Fund, P.O. Box 132, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090.
