Frank R. Wilwol

Hoosick Falls – Frank R. Wilwol (Chub) 85, passed away on Saturday June 27, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. He resided on Pine Valley Road with his wife Caroline Wilwol.

[private] Frank was born on January 13, 1930, in Buskirk, New York son of the late Anthony and Isabell (Hunt) Wilwol. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1951 to 1953. Frank was a farmer all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bow hunting.

Survivors other than his wife Caroline include his daughter Joyce (Todd) Brewer, sons Donald (Colleen) Wilwol and Dwain (Beth) Wilwol all of Hoosick Falls, a sister Alice Stenseth of Greenwich, NY , a brother Joseph Wilwol of Cambridge, NY, also seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother James Wilwol.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30 am at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial followed at 12:30 pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home, or to the charity of one’s choice. [/private]
