Eileen Kopsaftis’ goal is to help people live well and pain free. She is trained and qualified in a variety of programs that makes that goal possible. Kopsaftis, a physical therapist for more than 20 years, has had a lifelong interest in nutrition. She has managed to combine all her knowledge to offer individuals and families opportunities to improve their lives through functional science, diet and lifestyle intervention. She does not take health insurance, but offers affordable prices for everyone.

Kopsaftis, a mother and grandmother, teaches classes at Hudson Valley Community College and has been teaching a year and a half at the Tamarac Plaza. “I’ve outgrown the space,” she said. Hence, the move to a larger space in Hoosick. She knows many people in the area as she has worked part time at the Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Hoosick Falls for five years and she has lived in the Valley Falls/Pittstown area for almost nine years. A few weeks ago she had an introductory presentation on what she does and why. She also offers a free family and friends dinner event once a month. Her services include nutrition classes and consulting, MELT workshops, chain reaction classes, which, she said, her students just love as it takes in the whole body and is very effective. She also does manual therapy and offers wellness presentations.

According to her information sheet “Her specialty is manual techniques to correct biomechanics dysfunction and eliminate pain, the MELT Method to restore postural symmetry and eliminate pain, Applied Functional Science to restore functional strength and Nutrition Teaching/Consulting to eliminate chronic conditions and pain. Her approach is eclectic with a priority on restoring joint symmetry and movement, postural balance, functional mobility and digestive function.” It appears complicated, but it’s quite simple. She helps people learn to help themselves to a pain-free healthy life.

Have Lifelong WellBeing!, LLC is located at The Wellness Barn, 4976 Route 7 in Hoosick. Visit www.lifelongwellbeing.com to learn more about what Kopsaftis has to offer, or call 518-496-1265 for an appointment. [/private]
