Will four not-so-clever detectives be able to recover it and find the thieves? The clues lead them to castles and wild African plains, to volcanoes and desert towers! If they do find the painting, will it be in time to save the museum from becoming a parking lot? What will happen to the two young painters who want so badly to show their art? Will the news media help or hurt the museum’s chances of survival? And the poor curator, where will she go if the painting isn’t found?
