Farewell To Walter And Carol Knightes

August 6, 2015 By eastwickpress

submitted by Audrey Vanderhoef

Walter and Carol Knightes, faithful citizens of our and God’s community, will be moving to Florida this September.

[private]Walter and Carol have lived in the Berlin Community for over 40 years. During that time, this remarkable couple has been the educators, volunteers, public servants, and spiritual leaders of our community. Their imprint on this community will remain a legacy for generations and they will be sorely missed.

Members of their church and the community will be hosting a farewell reception in the Knightes’ honor on Sunday, August 23, at the Petersburgh Memorial Hall from 2 to 5 pm.  All are cordially invited to drop by to bid the Knightes a fond farewell and share their memories.

Refreshments will be served. If you would like to bring a covered dish/finger food/dessert to share, please let us know.

If you have any questions, please contact Kate (461-3240) or Audrey (279-9949) or email berlinteacher2015@gmail.com. [/private]
