Folk Duo To Perform In Grafton

The “Lost Radio Rounders” Tom Lindsay and Michael Eck of will present a free concert of American folk songs at the Everett Wagar Senior Center on Wednesday, August 19 at the Everett Wagar Senior Center, Grafton NY at 7 pm. 

[private]G-FolkDuo-wPlease join us as they share music from the Alan Lomax’s song book of American folk songs. The duo are accomplished musicians who provide engaging historical commentary between songs played on intriguing acoustic instruments.

They have been lauded for their work keeping American folk songs alive. The pair is   versatile and deep according to the Daily Gazette, and   their knowledge, love and passion for old time music is evident in every part of their performance.

The evening program will also include the conclusion   of the first Adult Summer Reading Program of the Grafton Community Library. There will be raffle prizes for those who completed the program.

This program is presented jointly by the Grafton Historical Society and the Grafton Community Library.  It is free and the public is invited. Light refreshments will follow the concert.[/private]
