Ann Lindsay, author of Watercolor: A New Beginning: A Holistic Approach to Painting (currently being reprinted) began painting full time in 1987, has had several one woman shows of her paintings and has been teaching classes and workshops here and abroad since 1989. She is currently on the faculties of Kripalu Yoga Center and Omega Institute for Holistic Studies.

In August of 2013 Ann and her daughter, Morgan headed off for a month in Paris. Everyone asked, “You’re going to paint, aren’t you?” “Probably not,” she said. “We’re going to be walking and seeing as much of Paris as we can.” And, indeed, that’s just what they did. So no. No paintings. But she sure did take a lot of photographs.

A selection of her favorites will be on view until October 1.

Information about the Library can be found at www.PetersburghPublicLibrary.org. The library phone is 518-658-2927

The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2 to 6 pm, Wednesday 2 to 7 pm, and Saturday 9:30 to 12:30.
