The Petersburgh Public Library has just received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers. [private]These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together. Come to the library to explore and enjoy our new collection.
The library is very grateful for these books which are now available to all children and grandchildren who visit the library. Don’t forget to read to children and encourage them to read to you when they begin to read for themselves. What fun it is to listen to children read stories that they have picked out themselves![/private]
