Sign Up For School Supplies By Aug. 21 HACA School Supply Drive Continues

For the 10th year the Hoosick Area Church Association is collecting school supplies for its Back-2-School Boost program. Supplies can be left at any HACA Church, the Food Pantry Cart in Tops Market, Thorpes’ Pharmacy or Hoosick Federal Credit Union. Suggested items include: backpacks, crayons, erasers, glue, index cards, highlighters, markers, notebooks, loose leaf paper, tab dividers, three ring binders, pens, pencils, rulers and pencil boxes.

[private]Monetary contributions are also appreciated, as they enable us to purchase backpacks and other specifically needed items. A donation of $20 provides a fully stocked, age-appropriate backpack. Please send your contributions to HACA, PO Box 1, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090.

Sign-up sheets are available at the HACA Food Pantry at 26 John Street, as well as at all HACA churches, Hoosick Falls Central School and St. Mary’s Academy. Requests will be filled after August 1 as they are received in order that families can plan for any special back to school needs for their children. [/private]
