Leah Tinkham, the daughter of Rick and Pam Tinkham of Hoosick, earned a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) during their May 2015 Commencement exercises. [private]
Leah graduated with high honors and consistently placed at the top of her class in comprehensive exams. During her time at PCOM Leah has had the honor to train extensively with a diverse and varied patient population at Rady Children’s Hospital, the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Cancer Research Institute and the San Diego YWCA Woman’s Rehabilitation Center. Leah currently assists at the UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine Family Practice in La Jolla, California. She plans on continuing to work in Integrative Medicine and completing her Doctorate in the near future. [/private]
