Cheney Library will begin the Fall Story Time for preschool children on September 22 in the Children’s Room of the library. Every Tuesday from September 22 through November 17 at 10 am, we will read stories about animals, do crafts, sing, and of course have snacks.
[private]Care givers and preschool children come and enjoy stories such as Dewey, There’s a Cat in the Library by Vicki Myron; Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae, Otto the Owl Who Loved Poetry by Vern Kousky, and Calvin, Look Out! A Bookworm Birdie Gets Glasses by Jennifer Berne. We will end the Fall session with a Thanksgiving celebration. This is a great time to have fun with your pre-school age child. Cheney Library is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1 to 8 pm; Tuesday 10 am to 5 pm; Friday 11 am to 5 pm; and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.[/private]
