In this laugh-out-loud train wreck of finger–pointing, tantrums and tears, a playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. God of Carnage has been called “the ultimate comedy of manners without manners.” Don’t miss this very funny, and ultimately thought-provoking, show.
The Theater Barn’s production of God of Carnage, which won the 2009 Tony Award for best play, is directed by Phil Rice and stars Kathleen Carey, Aaron Holbritter, Brett Milanowski and Erin Waterhouse.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 for the evening performances and $23 for the Sunday matinee. For information and reservations, please call 518-794-8989 or visit the website at www.theaterbarn.com.[/private]
