Hoosick Falls Country Club, 9/16, HF 10 – 1. Reed Boduch (G) won against Ryan Bloomer, 3-1. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Mason Williamson, 3-2. Hayden Smith (HF) won against Noah Kapper, 2 up. Conner Smith (HF) won against Jake Owens, 2-1. [private] Gavin Playotes (HF) won against Ellis Pemrick 2-1. The medalist was Mathew Smith (G) with a 39. That was the only sectional score of the day.
The pizza and cupcake Senior Celebration was held after this match. Team seniors Madison Taker, Alyssa Ellis and Catherine Whitman were the players celebrated.
HF 1½ – Tamarac 3½
Frear Park (Troy), 9/17, HF 10 – 2, T 1 – 12. Bobby Simmons (T) won against Mathew Smith, 3-2. Hayder Smith (HF) tied Chris Kneer. Conner Smith (HF) won against Ryan Remington, 5-3. Steve Kneer (T) won against Gavin Playotes, 2-1. Mathew and Conner Smith, along with Bobby Simmons earned sectional scores, with Simmons being the medalist with a 38.
HF 3 – Hoosic Valley 1
Hoosick Falls Country Club, 9/18, HF 11 – 2. Matt Espy (HV) won against Ryan Bloomer, 5-4. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Brett Norman, 4-3. Conner Smith (HF) tied Joe Felt. Hayden Smith (HF) won against Oliver Eckler, 4-2. Gavin Playotes (HF) tied Blake Weigert. The medalist was Matt Espy (HV) with a 36, the only sectional score of the day. Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith, Conner Smith and Hayden Smith qualified to compete in sectionals as a team representing HFCS. Congratulations to them. [/private]
