Four Hoosick Falls Golfers Win Wasaren League Invitational

The winning continues for Panther golfers with four players winning the Wasaren League invitational. On Friday (10/2/15), the Wasaren league played their invitational at the Country Club of Troy. Hoosick Falls won with a score of 254.

Players representing Hoosick Falls were Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith, Conner Smith, and Hayden Smith.

Coming in second place was Hoosic Valley with a 262, and they were represented by Matt Espey, Brett Norman, Joe Felt, and Oliver Eckler. Stillwater placed third with a 275 and was represented by Frank Darwak, John Tedesco, Jared Stazzi, and Brendan Wichelns.

Medalist for the event was Matt Espey (from Hoosic Valley) who shot 78.

The four Panther golfers played in Sectionals on Tuesday October 6 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Clifton Park. Results were not available at press time.[/private]
