Henry Ashton Crosby, Jr.

H. Ashton Crosby, 75, of New York City and Southport, CT, former Headmaster of the Hoosac School, passed away on September 10, 2015 from complications from a stroke.

[private]Tibbits - KM_C554e-20150922091407Born in 1940, he attended St. Bernard’s, Groton, Williams College, and earned his Masters from NYU. His passions were teaching and acting. He performed on stage, television and in films.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John Player Crosby and Mario Gifford Fernancez. He is survived by four siblings, Eleanor Hall, Sheldon Crosby, Letitia Haynes, and George Crosby. He leaves behind two daughters, Jennifer Crosby Cargill and Heather Crosby Munchin, and five grandchildren: Sammy Jr., Rosalie, Emma, Dylan, and John Player. He also had 10 nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at his beloved St. John the Divine at a date to be set.[/private]
