The Hoosick Hullabaloo, the weekend-long music and arts festival, kicked off with live music at Brown’s Walloomsac Taproom on Friday night and the Glow Golf in the Falls at The Hoosick Falls Country Club. About 30 people played. Kate Bradley, Andrew Bushey, Todd Rogers and Mike Hickey comprised the winning team.

Saturday began with the Rolf Max Sternberg 5K Road Race for Vibrant Communities, organized by CiviCure, under the direction of Administrative Director Jayne Stokes and with the help of Lisa Ferrannini, in which more than 60 people participated.

In the afternoon, kids enjoyed hayrides, thanks to “Little Ed” Granger, teams competed in foosball games while their families and supporters cheered them on. The Pet Parade was popular, as always. All of the entries in The Chowderfest were delicious; Kate Bradley was the winner with her Cajun Seafood Chowder.
