Linda K. Minkler

Walloomsac – Linda K. Minkler, 71, passed away on Saturday October 3, at her residence surrounded by her family. She resided on State Route 67 with her husband Curtis Minkler.

[private]Linda was born on January 12, 1944, in Hoosick Falls, New York, daughter of the late Charles and Ardythe (Bornt) Bender. She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School Class of 1962. Linda was employed at St. Gobain in Hoosick Falls in the Purchasing Department until retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing cards. Linda was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls.

Survivors other than her husband Curtis include her children Crystalee (Craig) O’Dell of Pownal, VT, Brent (Diane) Bouplon of Eagle Bridge, NY and Brad (Vicki) Bouplon of Seagrove, NC, grandchildren Mariah Andrew, Brodie O’Dell, Kylie, Alexandra, Brandon and Zachary Bouplon, step-grandchildren Kyle and Matt Parmenter and Ashley O’Dell, her sister-in-law Phyllis Giroux of Petersburgh, NY, and a cousin Scott Bornt of Hoosick Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday October 9, at 10 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the Mass at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.

Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Thursday October 8 from 5 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either Second Chance Animal Shelter or the Karen and Molly McGovern Memorial fund through the funeral home.[/private]
