She lived in Hoosick for the first 95 years of her life until she went to live at Brookdale Fillmore Pond in Bennington after a fall that broke her pelvis. She had never even been in a hospital until this accident.

Her first thirty-three years were spent in the Village of Hoosick Falls before she moved to North Hoosick to a home near the Dublin Bridge on Route 22. She was married to Joseph Miller (who is deceased) and together they raised three children, Michael, William and Marilyn. She was recognized at the Town Board meeting on November 9.

She is loved by many in the area who know her well and everyone is looking forward to her 100th birthday.[/private]
