A Wreath For Every Season… And For A Good Reason

November 5, 2015 By eastwickpress

Friends of the Cheney Library will be hosting the Wreath Festival at Immaculate Conception Church Fellowship Hall on November 7. The preview of the wreaths will begin at 6:30 pm and the auction will begin at 7:30 pm. There will be plenty of food and a choice of coffee, iced lemon water or mulled cider.

The wreaths are more spectacular than ever this year. We have one wreath that will make you sing the Elvis Presley classic “It’ll be a Blue Christmas Without You;” another will make you want to sail away on the wings of the cardinals that decorate it; we also have wreaths for different seasons, Spring, the Tuileries in Violet; Summer and bunches of sunflowers; and of course fall and winter. Do you know of someone who will be having a baby soon? We have a wreath for that occasion!

You can come into the library and see them, or pass by the Federal Credit Union, where they have some in their window.

The event also features a 50-50 raffle, library trivia, and live music.

So be sure to come for an enjoyable night out and the chance to take home a unique wreath. Support your library and help the Friends of the Library purchase a stair lift which will allow patrons with mobility issues access the lower level. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Library, or at the door.[/private]
