Cambridge Valley Holiday Art Tour And Sale

November 19, 2015 By eastwickpress

Art makes a most memorable gift!  Support a local artist, purchase something unique and wonderful, and have fun doing it![private]On December 5 from 10 am to 5 pm there will be an Art Studio Tour and Original Art Sale in the lovely village of Cambridge, NY.
Take the time to visit seven artists in  five locations throughout the village during our second Cambridge Valley Fine Art Tour.
Start on the west end of town with Matt Chinian, plein air landscape artist, and Elana Mark, who paints landscapes with barns and village scenes. Downtown you can find three artists sharing space on the Hubbard Hall Campus in the Lovejoy Building (down the yellow brick road next to Country Gals Diner). Heide Merecki works in many different mediums, Gabi Moore, various paint mediums, and Sara Kelly in  watercolors.  On Grove Street, George Van Hook will have his studio open displaying his gorgeous oil paintings.  The last stop on the tour is Mark Tougias, at the corner of Spring Street and North Park (Rt. 22 N) with his beautiful landscapes.
Look for our signs, and visit the website (www.cambridgevalleyart.org) for more information about the artists and a map to their locations.
Please note that the artists cannot process credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or your checkbook to purchase art.
This Art Tour and Sale  coincides with the “Christmas in Cambridge” weekend.  Don’t be surprised to see bands of strolling carolers, a bonfire or two, and all around good cheer to all.  There are many events happening; visit the Cambridge Valley Chamber of Commerce website for more information: www.cambridgenychamber.com.
