Democrats Take Both Town Council Seats In Stephentown

In Stephentown, the only contested race was for the two Town Board seats. [private]Democrat Bill Jennings was easily re-elected to his seat on the Town Board with 352 votes, and Democrat Gerry
Robinson was elected to the other one with 290 votes over two Republican nominees, Jason Guilbeault who received 216 votes, and Bob Parisi who received 180 votes.

Republican Supervisor Larry Eckhardt, running unopposed, was re-elected with 417 votes.Republican incumbent Town Clerk Stephanie Wagar,  running unopposed, was re-elected with 400 votes.

Democrat Mary Grant, running unopposed for Tax Collector, was elected with 424 votes.

Superintendent of Highways, Republican Aldie Goodermote, who was cross-endorsed by both parties, was re-elected with 488 votes.

Total ballots cast in Stephentown was 545.

Vote totals are unofficial and do not include write-in votes or absentee ballots.[/private]
