Dyken Pond Holiday Fundraisers

Balsam Wreath Sale 

Eighteen-inch balsam wreaths decorated with a collectible Dyken Pond nature ornament, pine cones, and a red velvet bow are for sale at $20 each. A custom-made Monarch Ornament comes with each wreath. Pre-order by November 15. Larger size wreaths also available. Call for prices. 

[private]Pick up on Saturday, November 21 at Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center or  Monday November 23 at the Dyken Pond Center Office, Government Center, in Troy from 9 am to 1 pm.

Call 518-658-2055 or email holidayfundraising@dykenpond.org to arrange for other pick up dates and times. Beautiful wreaths will make a great hostess gift for Thanksgiving.

23rd Annual Bird Seed Sale Fundraiser 

Seeds and prices: Premium Mixed 40 lb. bag $22; Niger 20 lb. Bag $25; Sunflower Hearts 20 lb. Bag $28; Black Oil Sunflower 40 lb. Bag $20; and Hi-Energy Suet Cakes $1.50 each.

Order a premium bag of bird seed while supporting the programs of the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center. Proceeds from this fundraiser go towards scholarships for children at the Summer Nature Camp and land protection efforts. Stock up to last the winter.The last day to order is Sunday, November 15.

Pick-up Saturday, November 21, between 9 am and 12 noon at Capital Agway, 1333 State Highway 7, Troy, NY 12180 (a 10% Discount will be offered on any bird-related items at Agway during pickup), or at the Rensselaer County Government Building on Monday, November 23 between 9 am and 1 pm .

To place your order, email Nick Conrad at holidayfundraising@dykenpond.org or mail to 3264 NY 2, Cropseyville, NY, 12052. Please include your full name, mailing address, email and phone number on the order. All orders by e-mail will be confirmed and payment accepted on pick up day. If you order a wreath and bird seed, you may pick up both at the bird seed pick-up location.[private]
