New Lebanon’s Town Clerk has been elected Town Supervisor. [private]Colleen Teal pulled in 429 votes to incumbent Supervisor Mike Benson’s 292 at the close of polls Tuesday night. “I want to thank all of the New Lebanon voters for their support,” said Teal. “I’m looking forward to serving them in this new capacity.”
Court Clerk Tistrya Houghtling is also moving upward, taking the Town Clerk’s position with 406 votes over Jennifer Kelly’s 302. Town Justice Jack Nevers won another four year term in a very close race against newcomer Schuyler Gail, with a count of 383 to 318. And Mark Baumli and Kevin C. Smith Sr. both won Town Board seats with Baumli taking 560 votes, Smith 369, and various write-ins 287.[/private]
