The pickup was facing south on Route 22 waiting to make a left hand turn onto Hewitt Road in Petersburgh when it was struck. The truck sustained substantial damage to the left front and left rear of the vehicle. No one was injured in the crash. The brand new truck had less than 700 miles on it. “I’ve had it two or three weeks,” the owner said, “I liked it.” The Berlin Rescue Squad, Petersburgh Fire Department and NY State Police responded to the scene. Cahill’s Garage removed the vehicle. [private]
