Veterans’ Art Show At The HAYC3 Armory Showcases History, Stories And Creative Works

“Veteran’s Art Show: A People’s History” will be held at the HAYC3 Armory on Saturday, November 14 from 6 to 8 pm.  The art exhibit and evening of poetry, music, and oral history videos showcasing the creative works and stories of veterans across generations. 

[private]A vibrant 69 piece portfolio of silk screened works gives voice to this generation’s warriors, amplifying their stories, which too often go unheard. Join veterans of many eras, military families, and friends for an evening to honor and celebrate veterans building community, advocating for change, healing, and illustrating their place in a people’s history.

A Veterans Day war history exhibit by the Louis Miller Museum and a Veteran’s Oral History Video Project by the Hoosick Township Historical Society will also be on display.

Artists, performers and presenters include members of the following organizations: Warrior Writers, Combat Paper Project, Louis Miller Museum, Hoosick Historical Society, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Justseeds Artist Cooperative, and the Civilian Soldier Alliance

Free and open to the public, this event will be held in 120gallery90 and in the Owls Nest, located downstairs in the HAYC3 Armory, 80 Church Street, Hoosick Falls, NY.
