Bowlers Win Again

The Hoosick Falls bowling team beat Whitehall on Wednesday, December 16 for its eighth victory of the season by the score of 4-0.  Hoosick Falls had a match total of 3,569 pins to Whitehall’s match total of 2,463 pins.  [private]Hoosick Falls now has a league point total of 32-0 and Whitehall has a league point total of 0-24.  Top bowler for Whitehall was Adrien Hollister with a 214-570.  Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls Varsity were: A.J. Hurlburt 239-683, Josh McCart 244-680, Kyla Day 240-633, Tyler Lindsey 246-593, Jon Bossoni 211-556, and Chris Snyder 211-537.  Top J.V. and Exhibition bowlers were:  Dan Suite 202-523, Erin McCart 211 (Highest Game All time)-495, Matt Bulson 182-478, Owynn Arnold 178-469, and James Hynd 170.

Coach Lang said, “We had another good team effort with the Varsity bowling some great scores!  A.J., Josh, and Kyla led the way with some impressive “600” triples.  The team is learning how to bowl on our home lanes and make adjustments during the match.  All the hard practice is starting to pay off especially when we enter the second half of the season after the Christmas break.
