Judith Hoag

Hoosick Falls – Judith S. Hoag, 66, passed away suddenly Saturday December 19, 2015 at her residence on Cottrell Road. She resided there with her husband Terrance Hoag.

[private]Judith was born on April 29, 1949, in Troy, New York, daughter of the late Robert Herrington and Jane (Buckley) Herrington of Schaghticoke, New York. She graduated from Hoosic Valley High School in 1967 and received an Associates Degree from St. Joseph’s College in Bennington, Vermont. Judith was a member of the Junior Holstein Club Advisory Board, the Hoosick Falls Community Band and the Washington County Band. She was also a 4H leader and member of the Cooperative Extension. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church where she was a member of the choir. Survivors other than her mother and husband include their children Marla (Francis) Wilwol, Meredith (Stephen) Bushner, Michael (Jackie) Hoag and Mark (Stacey) Hoag all of Hoosick Falls, NY, sister Janet Gaitor of Schaghticoke, NY, brothers Douglas Herrington of Lansingburgh, NY and Lee Herrington of Schaghticoke, NY. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, December 23 at 1 pm from the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the church prior to the Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Immaculate Conception Church or the Hoosick Falls Community Band, through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, who are handling the arrangements.[/private]
