Teresa C. Reinfurt

Hoosick Falls – Teresa C. Reinfurt, 91, passed away on Saturday December 5, at her residence on Hoosick Street. She was the wife of the late Robert “Herbie” Reinfurt, Sr. who passed away in 1993.[private]

Teresa was born on April 20, 1924, in Dalton, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Julia (Jarrett) Reynolds. She graduated from Dalton High School in Dalton and received her degree from Berkshire Business School. Teresa was employed as the Village Clerk for Hoosick Falls for many years, until her retirement.

Survivors include her sons Robert D. (Lorena) Reinfurt, Jr., of Charlton, MA, Christopher (Bonnie) Reinfurt of Underhill, VT and Edward (Sandy) Reinfurt of Falls Church, VA, and six grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Cale, Matthew, Nathan and Baelyn. She is also survived by a very special niece and her husband Mary and Rick Bromirski of Springfield, GA. The family would like to thank Dianne Longe and Dr. Marcus Martinez for their care of Teresa.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 14, at 1 pm at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, New York. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls followed the service. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Monday from 11 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad may be made through the funeral home.[/private]
