The driver of the gravel rig was not injured.  He told investigators that he turned sharply to avoid a vehicle westbound on Route 2, traveling at a high rate of speed and over the center line.  Recovery and clean up efforts resulted in the highway being closed or traffic reduced for several hours.  New York State Police, the Grafton Fire Department along with the Grafton Rescue Squad and Mohawk Ambulance were also dispatched to the scene.  Troopers say at this time no tickets have been issued.[/private]
