Patricia Ann Hayden

Hoosick Falls-Patricia Ann Hayden, 70, of Hoosick Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls.

[private]Ob-Hayden-wPat was born in Canajoharie, NY on December 29, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Timothy Joseph Kennedy and Helen Louise Washburn Kennedy.

Pat moved to Cambridge when she was 5 years old and graduated from Cambridge High School.  She worked at various restaurants in the Cambridge and Hoosick Falls area.

Pat was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her husband, Edmund Donald Hayden whom she married January 23, 1982; her two children, Robert (Eric Biederman) Kennedy of Columbus, OH and Dawn (Jason) Schmitz of Bealeton, VA; a cousin who raised Pat, Margaret “Peg” Hopkins of Cambridge; brother and sister, Timothy Kennedy of PA and Kathleen Parr of OH.  Pat is also survived by her four grandchildren, Emma Kennedy, Brendan Schmitz, Kealin Schmitz and Colton Schmitz.

Relatives and friends called on Sunday afternoon, January 3 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home in Cambridge.

A graveside service was held at 11 am on Monday, January 4 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge.

Memorial contributions in memory of Pat may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, 21 First St, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090 or Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad, 37 Gilbert St., Cambridge, NY  12816.
