Paul K. Haynes

Hoosick Falls – Paul K. Haynes Sr., 73, passed away on Monday December 21, at his residence on Carey Avenue. He resided there with his wife Mary (Laroche) Haynes.

[private]Paul was born on December 18, 1942, in Hoosick Falls, son of the late Irving and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Haynes. He attended schools in Hoosick Falls and graduated from St. Rose College with a Bachelor’s Degree. Paul served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963, then in the Army Reserves until 1965. Paul enjoyed golfing, going to the casinos, playing bridge and especially time spent with his grandchildren. He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and former member of the Hoosick Falls Elks.

Survivors other than his wife Mary include their children Paul (Mary) Haynes Jr., Christopher (Abby) Haynes and Kathryn Haynes, brother Robert “Moo” Haynes and grandchildren Jessica Agnes, and Lucy K, Carter Anderson Haynes. He is predeceased by three brothers Joseph, William and John Haynes.

Funeral services were held on Monday December 28, at 11:15 am from the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 12 noon from the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon, December 27. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen & Molly McGovern Memorial Fund or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.[/private]
